Remember when we revealed that Netherrealm and WB Games had announced it was hosting a Mortal Kombat 1 Online Server Stress Test? Well, now the dates have been revealed, and this stress test will run from June 23 at 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET until June 26, 8 AM PT / 11 AM ET, which is plenty of time to get your MK1 thirst quenched, or at least until the full game is released.
If you haven’t registered yet, why haven’t you? I mean, if you haven’t registered, there’s still time to do so before the deadline hits and players are randomly chosen from a pool of thousands if not millions.
This Mortal Kombat Mortal Kombat 1 Online Server Stress Test is being held for the PS5 and Xbox Series X|S only. Sadly, this won’t be available for the PC, likely due to Netherrealm not wanting anyone datamining and releasing information until they’re ready.
If you’re one of the lucky few selected, you’ll be able to play via 1 vs. 1 online multiplayer, as well as a limited single-player Klassic Towers mode against A.I. opponents. Cross-play won’t be available during this time.
Mortal Kombat 1 will serve as a reboot of the Mortal Kombat game franchise, which includes new game mechanics, new modes, and more. Be sure to check out our “Mortal Kombat 1: Everything we know so far” guide to get caught up on everything we know about the game thus far.
Mortal Kombat 1 will be released on September 19, 2023, for the PS5, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and PC (Steam, Epic Games Store).
