While Mortal Kombat 1 is still months away, Warner Bros. Games and Netherrealm are extending a chance to play the game early via an online stress test. Yep, a chance to get some hands-on MK1 action.
Head to the Mortal Kombat 1 online stress test sign-up to enter this test. This stress test is for the PS5 or Xbox Series X|S. Dates for this online stress test haven’t been announced as of yet. I do wish we could get a chance to see how the Switch version will handle online play.
That said, this will be an attempt to make sure the online infrastructure will be up to the task of handling thousands of players as they attempt to “finish” each other.
Time to test the might of our servers! Help us find issues now for a flawless release in September. Sign up below to be considered. Dates to be confirmed at a later time. #MK1https://t.co/91zYBxq5Jk pic.twitter.com/JTcHmXeeiO

Also, keep in mind that pre-registering for the Mortal Kombat 1 Online Stress Test does not guarantee access. Once you pre-register, you’ll have to cross your fingers or whatever else you do to grant you good luck.
Mortal Kombat 1 will serve as a reboot of the Mortal Kombat game franchise, which includes new game mechanics, new modes, and more. Be sure to check out our “Mortal Kombat 1: Everything we know so far” guide to get caught up on everything we know about the game thus far.
