The Marvel Cinematic Universe has just started its fifth phase in interesting ways. It started with Ant-Man and the Wasp Quantumania. Then, it continued with Guardians of the Galaxy Vol.3. However, if you’ve been looking for something to enjoy over on Disney+, you’ve been waiting for quite a while. The last set of shows from the MCU to land on Disney+ came out last year and there have been few indications about what else might be coming out in terms of new series. However, we have gotten an update on two such series that will return or debut this year, as Loki Season 2 and Echo have been dated.
You can find both dates below, and you’ll notice something very interesting about how both are launching.

That’s right, Loki Season 2, which will tie directly into Phase 5 via Loki and Mobius V Mobius going after Kang, will air in the “traditional” episode per week format. In contrast, Echo will be a fully bingable series from the drop, the first MCU series to do such a thing. So why the change? It’s hard to say, but it could be tied to the “hype” around the series and how familiar people are with the character. Either way, it’s going to be a busy end of the year for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
