AEW Fight Forever has been in the works for some time now. It’s All Elite Wrestling’s first foray into the console gaming market (as they’ve had a few mobile titles), and they aim to provide an “arcade wrestling experience” that fans of classic wrestling games will enjoy. The problem was that the game kept getting delayed due to issues with the ESRB. However, after a long time waiting, Kenny Omega himself has arrived to announced that the game will release on June 29th!
Why is that date significant? Because that’s two days after AEW’s big crossover event, Forbidden Door, where they team up with New Japan Pro Wrestling to have some legendary dream matches. It makes sense they want to bank off of that big event, as it’ll put more eyes on the title. Hopefully, the wait for the title will be worth it so that fans can enjoy the time for a long time to come.
