Since basically the beginning, many wondered if Sonic Frontiers would sell well. It seemed as though SEGA wasn’t focusing on what the game should be, and instead doing what “they wanted to do.” Which as we all know, is not the best way of going about game design. As such, when the game released in a rough shape, some wondered if that would affect the game’s sales. Well, SEGA has dropped the first sales number for the title, and it appears to be really good.
According to sources, Sonic Frontiers has sold over 2.5 million units in just over a month. For comparison, the last Sonic title to sell that much was Sonic Colors. The different being that Colors sold that much at the end of its lifetime! So the new game is off to a fast start. Be sure to check out our review!
