Today, they revealed Persona 4 Golden and Persona 3 Portale will be released on January 19, 2023.
Over the weekend, during the Persona 25th Anniversary Super Live P-Sound Wish 2022 concert in Chiba, Japan. Atlus and Sega revealed that several Persona titles stuck on older systems, Persona 3 Portable and Persona 4 Golden (which received a Steam release last year) would see ports to the PS4, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, and Xbox and PC Game Pass.
In addition, along with the release, both titles will also offer Italian, German, and French languages.
This isn’t the first time we’ve heard of these games heading to multiple platforms, as Atlus revealed this back in June 2022.
Persona 4 Golden: They say your soulmate will appear if you stare into a television set on a rainy night… This strange rumor slowly spreads through the rural town of Inaba, the protagonist’s new home, just as a chain of mysterious murders begin. As the protagonist and his teammates chase after the truth, they find themselves opening the door to another world.
Persona 3 Portable: If I say there’s an hour “hidden” between one day and the next…would you believe me? This unknown time is the “Dark Hour.” Unfamiliar stillness swallows the city, people turn into eerie coffins, and otherworldly monsters called Shadows swarm. One night, the protagonist is attacked by these Shadows. When all hope seems lost, the power of the heart, their Persona, is awakened.
If you’re one of the millions that have been begging Atlus to re-release these gems onto modern consoles, consider this mission completed. Now, don’t let Atlus down, and be sure to purchase one or both games will they are released next year.
These titles will join the Persona 5 Royal release for the PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, Switch, PC (Steam, Windows Store), and the Xbox and PC Game Pass.
