The Tokyo Game Show gave us a new trailer for One Piece Odyssey. We got a new release date for next year in it.
We also get a new look at the story. Lim has taken the powers of our Straw Hat crew because she does not like Pirates. It is up to the Straw Hats to go through their memories and retrieve these cubes that their powers are put into. This explains having our heroes put back to level one in a way that matches the story. Though it is in a weird way since it looks like they still have access to their devil fruit abilities so the cubes apparently can’t take that away.
The release date is January 13th, 2023, which is later than the previous timeline it was shooting for. Good to finally have a set in stone release date for the game though!
One Piece Odyssey will release on Xbox consoles, PlayStation consoles and PC January 13th 2023.
