Did you know that you can get married in the upcoming roguelike cult-building DIY simulator, Cult of the Lamb? Yep, it’s a game feature that wasn’t widely known, and I recently stumbled across this myself.
It’s just another quirky and exciting thing about this game that I can’t put down. As for how to get married, keep reading as we’ve spelled it all out.
How To Get Married in Cult of the Lamb
To get hitched in Cult of the Lamb, you must have progressed to the point where you can start declaring doctrines for your cult. To do this, you’ll need to acquire three pieces of a Commandment Stone per doctrine. Once you’ve earned two Commandment Stones, you can head to your Temple and select “Crown Offering.”
Doing so will let you choose from five different Doctrine trees, but for the marriage option, you’ll need to select the Law and Order Doctrine. The second level of the Law and Order Doctrine tree will allow you to choose from either the “Ritualistic Fight Pit” or “Wedding.”
To get hitched, you’ll need to select “Wedding.” Then confirm it by selecting “Declare New Doctrine.” Doing this, you’ll add this as “Wedding” as a ritual.
Once “Wedding” has been acquired, you can now marry any of your followers by performing a ritual. By doing this, you’ll also gain +30 faith.
You can marry as many followers as you want, but you’ll need to caution yourself in doing so. Marry too many people, and you’ll frustrate your followers as they will get jealous.
Lastly, performing the “Wedding” for the first time will unlock the “The Lovers II” tarot card.
Cult of the Lamb releases for the consoles and PC on August 11, 2022. Check out our article here if you’re curious about how the game performs on the Steam Deck. We’re still working on our review of Cult of the Lamb and will have that released within the week.
