This Saturday, anyone interested in Splatoon 3 can go to this link and secure a Splatoon 3 trial key. You must have a Nintendo store account to get a key.

Downloading the game today will let you play the Splatoon 3 tutorial, customize your character and choose your team. Of course, since you’re a few days away from the start, it doesn’t mean you can’t do anything while you wait. So, download it now and get ahead of the game.

Once the demo starts, everyone will be able to try out the new Splatoon 3 game mode, Splatfest Tricolor Turf War Battles, which pits players in an oddly 4v2v2 format. Three teams fight at the same time! The top team will face a pincer attack from 2 players on the 2nd place team & 2 players on the 3rd place team! It sounds like chaos to me, but also fun.
I’m not the biggest fan of Splatoon, but after hearing and seeing a lot of positive reception from the preview, I may see what this demo is all about.
