If you haven’t heard yet, the latest quarterly financial data from Nintendo has released and they’ve made some very big reveals about not just the Nintendo Switch, but the games in its lineup that released within the last few months. And for titles like Nintendo Switch Sports, Mario Strikers Battle League, and more, it was very good news.
Because according to them, Nintendo Switch Sports and Mario Strikers Battle League are both now proudly in the million-sellers club. So much so that the former has sold basically five million units, and the latter is basically at two. Especially when you consider this data is just from April-June, and July is now over and we doubt the sales dropped that much. Both of these were considered “wild cards” when released, so it’s good to see them do so well.
Another game that has done well is Kirby and the Forgotten Land, which, when the Q1 data is added, is now at 4 million units sold! The highest sell-through rate for any game in the franchise.
All in all, very good news for Nintendo, and its fans, all around.
