The Aliens: Fireteam Elite Pathogen DLC has been revealed during IGN’s Summer of Gaming 2022 Livestream. This DLC was part of the initial Aliens: Fireteam Elite roadmap and will conclude the fourth season.
The long-awaited DLC for Aliens: Fireteam Elite couldn’t have come at a better time. Despite the game being one of the better Aliens games, faithful to the IP, and damned enjoyable, the game became a tedious grind fest once the original campaign was over. Due to that, the once eager fanbase started to drop the game.
With Aliens: Fireteam Elite Pathogen, this should bring back those fans while welcoming in those who enjoy a good 3rd person shooter.
Included in Aliens: Fireteam Elite Pathogen is a new campaign, weapons, gear, and the Fireteam Elite Hardcore mode. Of course, there are also going to be new enemy types, including the white Neomorph that was seen in Aliens Covenant.
Needless to say, I’m looking forward to the Pathogen DLC, so I can fire up Aliens: Fireteam Elite and go to war with my fellow colonial marine pals all over again.
Aliens: Fireteam Elite Pathogen will be released for all platforms on August 30th, 2022.
