millennium parade, the groundbreaking Japanese collective of artists led by Daiki Tsuneta, today debut “Secret Ceremony,” their newest track and the opening theme song to season 2 of Netflix’s Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045.
Available everywhere now, “Secret Ceremony” showcases the range of the creative group, as it weaves elements of J-pop, rock, jazz and funk with electronic synths and beats to create a truly genre-defying sound. The experimental anthem features as the opening credits theme to the second season of Netflix’s Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045, providing the perfect introduction to the futuristic world of the cyberpunk anime series, which makes its debut on the platform this Monday, May 23. “Secret Ceremony” is one of two tracks written by millennium parade for Ghost in the Shell: SAC_2045; the group also provided the show’s end credits theme entitled “No Time To Cast Anchor,” which will be released next Friday, May 27 via Milan Records.
