It’s been hard to get your hands on a PlayStation 5, and at times it seems that you’ll never get one. Well, hopefully, tomorrow will be the day you snag one, as Gamestop has announced it will be selling the PlayStation 5 in most of its retail stores. Check out this link to see if they’ll be selling the PS5 in your neck of the woods. Sadly, the Guam, Hawaii, and Alaska regions won’t be able to partake in this PS5 sale.
This is an in-store-only event; you’ll have to head up to the store. I don’t even have to mention that quantities will be limited.
The catch here is that Gamestop will only be selling the PS5 in bundles, and you MUST be a member of Gamestop’s Powerup Rewards Pro program. While this does cost an extra $14.95 a month, it might be worth the extra 15 bucks a month, depending on how much you shop at the store.
As for the bundles, I know how everyone hates bundles. Unfortunately, this is one of the ways that retailers have been able to fight scalpers and botters. It does raise the price of the PS5 and at times does put the coveted device out of the reach of many. Still, the bundles still manage to sell just as fast as non-bundle consoles.
So, if you are still trying to track down a PS5, then tomorrow might be your best bet. Make sure you get up early, as there’s bound to be a massive line. Oh, and take some pictures and send them to us, if you don’t mind, that is.
