When it comes to Zack Snyder’s Justice League, this was a movie of “doesn’t”. As in, WB said it “doesn’t exist”, then it was a movie that “doesn’t have a chance of getting released by WB”. Then it was it “doesn’t stand a chance of being good even if it IS released”. And yet, it did exist, it did come out, and most agreed that it was good. Great even, and the fan love for it was very clear. Which brings us to the Oscars.
Because the Oscars decided to make a “Fan Cheer Moment’ award, and many said that Zack Snyder’s Justice League “doesn’t stand a chance of winning it” for its moment of “Flash Enters The Speed Force”. Do I really need to explain what happened tonight?
Zack Snyder’s Justice League wins the #Oscars Cheer Moment.
Given the impossible nature of making that film a reality, happy to see Zack and the JL team recognized for their incredible film.

There’s a lot that needs to be said here. Not the least of which is because this moment is already getting hated on by certain people on the internet. This award win matters because it wasn’t just fans voting on it, they voted on it in droves. What’s more, the Speed Force moment WASN’T IN the theatrical cut of the film. In fact, one of the people who worked on the Snyder Cut noted that WB “didn’t get it” when they first saw it, so they got rid of it amongst a TON of other things that Snyder had made for his version of the film. So that alone proves that “people got it” and that “people loved it”.
Also, some of the other moments it beat were not to be scoffed at. Not the least of which was Spider-Man No Way Home via the “Spider-Men Unite” moment, and that movie made a BUNCH of money at the box office and many fans said it was a “snub” for not getting nominated for Best Oscar. Yet those fans couldn’t top the Snyder Cut fans for this award.
Naturally, some of the people behind the movie had things to say about this…
