It was only a few days ago that some fake information regarding the Elden Ring PC system requirements had started circulating on the internet. They were supposedly listed on the Elden Ring Steam page, but then yanked as quickly as posted. Thankfully, those were proven incorrect. Today, the actual Elden Ring PC system requirements were listed on the official Elden Ring website.
Looking over these requirements, these are more demanding than that of Dark Souls III for the PC. While the GPU requirement doesn’t seem to be that big of a deal, the CPU is quite different. The lower end of things doesn’t require much power, but the recommended side of things tells a different tale.
While some may assume the CPU isn’t much of a big deal, we’re in a much different age right now. CPUs and GPUs are hard to come by, as we’ve seen. Prior to the last few years, most could hit up any local electronics shop or go online and snag a decent CPU and GPU. Those times are gone, and it’s a mad dash even to buy PC hardware that’s been considered obsolete.
