The cult classic .hack//G.U. Last Recode will be making its’ way to the Nintendo Switch on March 11, 2022.
It has been about 20 years since the original game was released back on PS2. It was then remastered to Recode with the epilogue Volume 4 of Reconnection for PS4 in 2017. A PC version was then released a little after. Now Switch owners will be able to play cult-classic from CyberConnect.
The story focuses on a character named Haseo. He hunts another player named “Tri-Edge” who killed his friend Shino within the game and left her in a coma in real life. Haseo joins an organization that is also tracking Tri-Edge. The reason Shino and other players fall into comas is connected with AIDA, a mysterious computer anomaly that infects their characters. It is up to him and his friends to find Tri-Edge, rescue the coma victims, and fix the problems that plague the game of “The World”.

.hack//G.U Last Recode is out on PS4 and PC. Nintendo Switch version will be available on March 11, 2022
