Pokemon as whole has been showing off a LOT of animation this year. From the return of Pokemon’s main anime series via Pokemon Master Journeys to Pokemon Evolutions, the Netflix arrival of Pokemon Secrets of the Jungle, and more, it’s been a lot to watch. But easily one of the most unique entries in the animation section for the franchise is that of Poketoon.
These little shorts have been done by various animation studios, and each one focuses on its own unique story. The latest Poketoon is roughly translated to “Summer Vacation Blizzard” and focuses on a trio of kids who find a Snorunt that has caused a blizzard near their “secret base”. The boys must now figure out what to do with the Snorunt.
