KADOKAWA announced today that the I’m Quitting Heroing series is receiving a television anime adaptation! The anime is scheduled to air during the April 2022 anime season! There is both a light novel and a manga for this series; however, KADOKAWA states that the anime adaptation will be based on the light novel. The English version of the light novel is slated for a November 2021 release!
To celebrate this announcement, KADOKAWA announced that the first three chapters of the manga will be FREE at BOOK WALKER Global from now until November 2! KADOKAWA has also published 31 chapters of the manga along with 1 bonus chapter in ebook format. Chapters are still being added to the story on a monthly basis which matches the serialization schedule of their Japanese releases.
KADOKAWA describes the story as follows:
The protagonist is the strongest former hero Leo, who once saved the world but is not wanted in the peaceful human world anymore. He tries to find a new job at the Demon Queen’s army he once defeated. Can he join the army? What’s his true purpose?
