One of the biggest questions is if Forza Horizon 5 will have a question ahead of the official release. Sadly, we know now the answer to that question, thanks to the Forza Horizon 5 FAQ that went live a few days ago. As for Forza Horizon 5 demo, Playground Games has stated that there won’t be a demo for Forza Horizon 5.
This strikes me odd as they have released demo’s for Forza Horizon 3, Forza Horizon 4, and even Forza Motorsport 7. It even looked like a demo was ready to be released, per the Forza Horizon 5 Initial Drive video that I’m sure we’ve all watched a bunch of times. Of course, we’re in different times compared to the past release of Forza Horizon 4. Now developers are dealing with the ongoing pandemic, and resources have been stretched. This would make sense as to why there’s no demo, and Playground Games would rather focus on releasing the game instead of the added headache of a demo.
Sure, it stinks, and I know we’ve all were looking forward to the demo, but it makes perfect sense. I’d love a demo to hold me off until the full game is released. However, I’d rather Playground Games focus on the full game instead of splitting its resources.
Forza Horizon 5 will be the largest game of the series thus far, will take place in Mexico, and with 11 unique biomes that include Canyon, Tropical Coast, Rocky Coast, Farmland, Arid Hills, Jungle, Sand Desert, Living Desert, Volcano, Swamp, and the Central-Mexican City Guanajuato.
If you’re a fan of arcade racing games with a touch of open-world racing, Forza Horizon 5 should be on your buying list. I know it’s definitely on mine. Forza Horizon 5 will be released on November 9th, 2021, for the Xbox One, Xbox One X, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam, Windows Store).
