While many fans are praising Star Wars Visions as a “revival” of sorts for the franchise, let’s not forget the series that truly did that via The Mandalorian. It was that show that brought Star Wars out of its funk and inspired a STRING of new live-action series to be born. One of them being announced at the end of Mandalorian Season 2 via The Book Of Boba Fett. Now, we have an official poster for that series, and its release date.
As the poster below shows, the premiere of The Book Of Boba Fett will happen on December 29th, just before the year ends. Recall that Disney+ does the weekly episode model so thus the first season of the show will run into February more than likely.
In a press release, we also got the synopsis for the series:
“The Book of Boba Fett, a thrilling Star Wars adventure, finds legendary bounty hunter Boba Fett and mercenary Fennec Shand navigating the Galaxy’s underworld when they return to the sands of Tatooine to stake their claim on the territory once ruled by Jabba the Hutt and his crime syndicate.”
