If you’re one of the many who’ve been wondering if the PlayStation DualSense is supported in the upcoming Deathloop title, then you’ll be happy to know that it does. Deathloop is the second game that will support the haptic feedback feature. With Metro Exodus Enhanced being the first to do so, plus adaptive trigger support as well.
According to IGN’s Matt Kim, the DualSense controller works just fine in Deathloop. Complete with haptic feedback support.
Good news on Deathloop. Folks who don't have a PS5 but want to experience the DualSense features will be glad to know the PC version supports PS5 haptics. So, I dunno, maybe pick up a controller if you're interested.

This is fantastic news as I was hoping this would be the case. Since the controller was released, the DualSense controller has been my favorite gaming controller, closely followed by the Xbox Elite Series 2. So maybe listen to what Matt Kim said, and pick up a controller. If you lived by me, I could give you one as I have more than enough controllers to go around.
Towards the end of 2020, Steam had started testing the DualSense controller in several beta clients. Then in December 2020, Steam officially started supporting the DualSense controller. Everything except for haptic feedback and adaptive feedback. Steam wasn’t the only client to support the DualSense, as the popular 3rd party application DS4Windows also enabled the DualSense for the PC. Now both clients support the controller via Bluetooth and USB Type C.
Here’s to more PC games supporting the DualSense, and hopefully, we’re getting that much closer to PlayStation officially supporting the controller for PCs (Windows).
Deathloop releases on September 14th, 2021, on the PlayStation 5 and PC. The title is console-exclusive to the PS5 for an entire year, so you won’t playing on the Xbox platform anytime soon.
