Just announced during Gamescom 2021, Xbox’s and 343i’s upcoming title, Halo Infinite, finally has a release date. After being leaked just this morning, Xbox has confirmed that Halo Infinite will be released on December 8th, 2021, for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC.
The development road for Halo Infinite hasn’t been a smooth one. After being troubled before the Xbox Series X and S release, the game failed to impress and generated a meme that I’m sure you’re all aware of. Following that, Xbox delayed the release of the once-promised launch title for its next-gen consoles. Then just a few days ago, it was announced that the co-op campaign and Forge mode would be missing when Halo Infinite is released.
I’m sure the release date announcement will make a ton of Halo fans, including myself, happy. Now, I hope that the release date and the game’s eventual release does what 343i promises it will – return Halo to its former glory.
Halo Infinite releases on December 8th, 2021, and will be available on Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, and Xbox Game Pass on day one.
