During the Dying Light 2 Gamescom 2021 event, it was officially announced that Dying Light is headed to the Nintendo Switch. The Dying Light Platinum Edition that was released a few months back will head to the Switch, along with all the content already released for Dying Light. This includes Dying Light: The Following expansion, Dying Light: Bozak Horde game mode, Cuisine & Cargo, which adds two new quarantine zones, Ultimate Survivor Bundle, Crash Test Skin Pack, Hellraid game mode, and a bunch of skins and weapon packs.
The Switch version would include a co-op mode. The specifics behind this or who’s handing the port haven’t been announced yet, but more information later this year.
The release date was also not provided; however, it was mentioned that the Switch version would be released later this year. I’d imagine this means the Switch version of Dying Light could be released alongside Dying Light 2, which releases on December 7th, 2021, for PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S and PC.
