The already delayed Resident Evil Re:Verse that has already seen one delay, has been delayed again. According to Capcom, the Resident Evil meets multiplayer deathmatch has been delayed until 2022. I guess that meant that the game needed more work than we previously thought.
The previously announced July 2021 launch of Resident Evil Re:Verse is being moved to 2022 so that the team can continue working to deliver a smooth gameplay experience. We will share updated launch details at a later time. Thank you for your patience and understanding. pic.twitter.com/o8hP363fjR

I really don’t have much to say about this, to be honest. I wasn’t a fan of this mode when the beta was ongoing and had wished that Capcom had scrapped this and went with a mercs type of game. But it is what it is, and thus, Capcom isn’t giving up on the game. You have to wonder how long Capcom will continue to work on this before they scrap it. Seriously though, Capcom, just cancel this game. I’m sure nobody would miss it.
Resident Evil Re:Verse was originally slated to be released alongside Resident Evil Village, which ended up doing better than excepted.
