Ever since Nintendo revealed Metroid Dread during its E3 2021 Nintendo Direct, I’ve been smitten with the game. I’ve been hard at work tracking down as much on the game as I can, as I’m excited about this game. Especially since this is a game that was in development over 10 years ago, that was canceled for no release. Anyway, enough of that, let’s talk about these new gameplay clips that were released by Famitsu.
These gameplay clips are fairly short, clocking in at under one minute each. However, unlike some of the footage we’ve already seen, these don’t have any commentary over them. Give them a watch.
It’s amazing that despite being over a decade old, Metroid Dread (or should we call it Metroid 5) has me excited about a Metroid game all over again. perhaps even more so than Metroid Prime 4, a game that I’m beginning to think we won’t see for another two years. Talk about a troubled developed cycle; how many times has the game been restarted now?
Metroid Dread releases exclusively for the Nintendo Switch on November 9th, 2021. Are you looking forward to the Metroid Dread? Let us know in the comments.
