The 25th anniversary of Pokemon is still going and today out of nowhere The Pokemon Company decided to drop not one but TWO major bombshells in terms of upcoming Pokemon titles. Mainly, they dropped the release dates for the upcoming major Pokemon games coming for Nintendo Switch!
First up, Pokemon Legends Arceus, which is going to bring a new look on the Sinnoh region (as well as bringing the legendary Pokemon Arceus to the in-game world story for the first time), is going to be coming out on January 28nd, 2022! Here’s a look at the box art for it:

Now, if you’re hoping that you don’t have to wait that long to play a Pokemon title, you’re in luck, because in November, Pokemon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl is coming:

These announcements are shocking because rumors for a while now have stated that a “Pokemon Presents” event was coming to go and show off these release dates and more. Maybe that will still happen in terms of the Presents happening, but clearly The Pokemon Company wanted to announce the games now.
