Demon Slayer: Mugen Train’s Home Release Announced

By Josh PiedraMarch 16, 2021

It was announced that Demon Slayer: Mugen Train is coming to DVD and Blu-ray on June 16! Before you start hyperventilating into a paper bag, this is in Japan… not the United States or Europe; HOWEVER, most, if not all, anime movie releases in Japan do contain English subtitles and this film is no exception.

So, if you want to fight all of the rabid Japanese fans for a copy of Japan’s highest-grossing movie of all-time, then make sure you hit up your favorite Japanese media retail website and secure yourself a pre-order copy. When can you pre-order, though?

Right now.

Let the madness begin!

To tempt people even further, both DVD and Blu-ray formats come in a standard and limited edition that contains box art by series character designer Akira Matsushima. It also comes with a drama CD, music collection, a DVD containing the original stage greeting from the premiere, a Fuji TV special, 10 episodes of Merzamashi TV, and a special booklet with interviews and information. Since you speak English, you’ll enjoy none of that but at least you can have the satisfaction of owning it.

You can check out the box cover and insert art below:
