Earlier, we reported that Capcom and Nintendo would host a special Monster Hunter Rise event on Jan. 7th, 2021. Now the official Monster Hunter channel is announcing another event for the same day but later.
On Jan. 7th, 2021, at 3:30 PM PT / 6:30 PM ET, new gameplay will be shown, alongside several popular content creators; @AdmiralBahroo, @maximilian, @Dansgaming, and @Matimi0. These are some huge names in the streaming space, and I know that at least Dansgaming and Maximillan are fans of the Monster Hunter series, of which Maxi has been eager to get some hands-on.
Keep an eye out on Jan 7th at 3:30pm PST / 6:30pm EST for an exclusive look at #MHRise gameplay with @AdmiralBahroo, @maximilian_, @Dansgaming and @Matimi0!

If Capcom has these four to show off the game, you can definitely be sure we will get an extended look at the game. This excites me as I’ve been following Monster Hunter Rise for some time now. Obviously, I’m not pumped that it is exclusive to the Switch, but as long as the rumors/leaks hold, I can wait until the title hits other platforms at a later date. Just look at how long PC gamers had to wait for Monster Hunter World to arrive on the PC, which ended up being 6 months after the PS4 and Xbox One versions were released.
Monster Hunter Rise will release on the Nintendo Switch on March 26, 2021, while a demon for the game is slated to be released this month. It may even be released as soon as tomorrow.
