Rejoice Dragon Ball GT fans, it is now confirmed that Super Baby 2 and Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta will be coming to Dragon Fighterz to close out Fighterz Pass 3.
Asides from young Goku from Dragon Ball GT, the main villain and the Supers Saiyan 4 of Gogeta will soon be playable. This is a good throwback to fans of the mid-’90s and who grew up with the dark horse entry of Dragon Ball GT. To give context, Baby is the last of the Tuffle race and was rebuilt by Dr. Myuu as a mutant machine. He was tasked to eliminate all the Saiyans and to restore his kind by taking over the earth. He later took over Vegeta’s body and became the final form you see in the trailer. Of course, this was all before the existence of Dragon Ball Super and the new Saiyan forms – for better or worse.
In the trailer, we see some similarities to Vegeta’s move sets while having different variations. We then see him in combat with young Goku and adult Gohan. It then finishes by showing off his level 3 special of his super monkey form. He will be coming to the game on January 15, 2021.
However, while this was Baby’s time to shine, we got wind of another character making their way to Dragon Ball FighterZ.
The season’s last character is none other than the fusion character, Super Saiyan 4 Gogeta (Super Dragon Ball Heroes), in all his red monkey glory. Yes, it means there will be two Gogeta’s that will be playable in Dragon Ball FighterZ, and no, it’s totally not weird at all. His release is yet to be determined, but it states that he is coming soon.
Dragon Ball Fighterz is out now on current major consoles and PC.
