At this point in time, it’s almost routine to discuss all of the sales success that the Nintendo Switch is having. We just found out the recent quarterly numbers for the Switch that put it at about 68 million units sold, and now, we have even MORE numbers to go along with that.
Because the NPD numbers for October have released and they showed that the Nintendo Switch sold 735,000 units in that month. Impressive, especially when you consider there wasn’t a “killer app” to sell units outside of a port of Pikmin 3. Furthermore, this is the highest sales number for a console in October since the Wii in 2008.
And according to one NPD expert, Nintendo and its console are killing it in Q3:

Given that the PS5 and the Xbox Series X have launched, it’ll be curious to see how the Switch does in November, especially since they do have a big game coming out via Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity AND the holiday sales will begin.
