    Game Of The 2020 Candidates Announced

    The end of 2020 is not far away and the gaming community knows what that means, another Game of the Year contest is about to go down. For the uninitiated, every year the Game Awards picks 6 candidates to compete for the title of Game of the Year; these titles are the praised as the best of the best by critics and fans and are often used as a measuring stick for future games. Without further ado, lets look at our contestants courtesy of Geoff Keighley the host of the Game Awards:

    While most people expected to see the likes of Ghost of Tsushima and Animal Crossing appear in the running for Game of the Year but Hades appearing on the list is surprising due to the GotY awards being a mostly triple A affair. A surprise yes, but a welcome one. I do have to ask however, where’s Half Life: Alyx huh?

    In addition to the GOTY award there are also several award categories yo can vote for as well, this awards and their nominees are as follows:
