While the PlayStation 5 will be able to play a vast number of PlayStation 4 games, it would seem that some of them are getting enhanced updates. Today, Bend Studio, the creator of Days Gone, has announced that the title will be one of those PlayStation 5 enhanced games.
In a recent tweet, Bend Studios mentions that the title will support up to 60 frames per second, with dynamic 4K. Meaning the game will strive to stay at 4K, but the resolution will drop to a lower resolution as needed. At least, that’s the plan anyway.
They also mentioned that game save data would be transferrable from the PS4 to the PS5. Great news for those in the middle of the game, and don’t feel like starting over.
While it wasn’t mentioned, this implies a patch/update will be made available for Days Gone as soon as you install it on the PlayStation 5.
If you're taking a ride on the Broken Road for the first time, or finishing up NG+, here's what you can expect when you boot up #DaysGone on the #PS5:

This is great news for those of us who had issues with Days Gone’s unstable frame rate when played on both the PS4 and PS4 Pro. I may revisit the title once my PlayStation 5 is in my hands… rather in my entertainment system.
