Microsoft’s pair of new machines, Xbox Series X and the minuscule Xbox Series S, have launched today and fans are excitedly booting up their new consoles as we usher in a new generation—at least, most fans are.
In a report by Matt T.M. Kim of IGN, it seems as though some customers who pre-ordered the Xbox Series X through Amazon will potentially have to wait another month till they can get their hands on the new console.
The Tweet below contains an email sent by Amazon, confirmed by IGN, that details the delay.

This is unfortunate for customers blindsided by this delay as early adopters are often the most dedicated fans. While some may not be able to receive the Xbox Series X on time, the console’s library will at least be a little more fleshed out with marquee titles like Cyberpunk 2077 hitting the market by then.
