With the launch of the PlayStation 5, gamers across the globe have been scrambling to acquire the console and its accessories. Both of which are scarce, it seems, as the PS5 is sold out just about everywhere, while the accessories, from the official PlayStation headsets and charging stations are as hard to find as water is in a desert. With that in mind, we took to look at some alternatives for the charging station since having a dead DualSense is a sure way to put a damper on this.
Sure, we could use the USB Type C cable, but we as gamers deserve better. A charging station looks much more stylish and cleaner. That said, we know that when it comes to 3rd party accessories, people tend to worry about them. So we’ve vetted a few and ordered several of the items we have listed below. We’ll have reviews of them as well in due time.
Of course, if you manage to get a chance to get the official charging station, go for that.
Now, on to the 3rd party charging stations.
BEJOY PS5 DualSense Controller Charging Station
Bejoy has been creating both PlayStation and Xbox One charging stations for quite some time. I’ve owned some of that over the years, so I know what to expect from the company. Now the company has released its own take of the DualSense Charging Station, complete with several must-have features.
Sure, it’s not as good looking as the official DualSense charging station, it does have the goods. It can fit two DualSense controllers; a LED indicates when a controller has been charged and promises to charge a controller in four hours. It also features overload protection and temperate controls for those the worrisome out there, so your controllers are protected.
This is currently available on Amazon for $19.99, which has climbed in price recently. We’ve ordered this charging station, so look for a review in the upcoming week.

YUANHOT Charging Station for PS5 DualSense
I’ll be honest here, I’ve never heard of this company, but I do like what this charging station offers. This also features overload protection to protect your DualSense controllers from overloads and shocks. As well as a four hour charging period and detachable USB Type ports.
The YUANHOT Charging Station for PS5 DualSense is available on Amazon for $13.95. Or if you want a single charging station, they have one of those for $11.95.
Collective Minds Dual Charge PS5
This charger hasn’t been released, but I’m adding it to the list for several reasons. The first being this is the only one I’ve found is similar to the official DualSense charger. Collective Mind is also a company I’m familiar with, and while the name isn’t as widely known as some other accessory makers, they do make quality stuff. We’ve also ordered this charger for review, but we’re still waiting on it to be delivered. This charger doesn’t offer any gimmicks, and it only claims is that it will charge DualSense controllers in five hours, and features LEDs to show the charging status.
This can be purchased on the Collective Minds website for $19.99 (Plus Shipping) or on Gamestop’s website.
That’s it. While compiling this list, I did see several other DualSense chargers but mostly knock-offs. So we made sure only to add the ones that looked and sounded promising.
Of course, we’d only recommend getting the official DualSense charging station, but we also know those are incredibly hard to come by. If you happen to pick up any of these chargers, let us know what you thought of them.
