My Time at Portia was a delightful, little life-sim by Chinese studio Pathea Games that incorporated elements from contemporaries like Harvest Moon and Stardew Valley to carve out its own unique identity. My Time at Sandrock, a sequel set in the same world, looks to expand what made its precursor so enjoyable but it may need some help from fans via Kickstarter to completely deliver.
The team at @PatheaGames are excited to announce the sequel to #MyTimeAtPortia – @MTaSandrock!

As of writing this news piece, My Time at Sandrock has already reached $64,000 of its $100,000 base goal in just a couple of hours so it’s safe to say the developers are going to reach their target price, and their initial stretch goals, sooner rather than later.
The folks at Panthea Games look to make an even more ambitious game in a more frontier-inspired setting all the while addressing some of the main issues most players had with My Time at Portia; the standouts being the underwhelming story and buggy, inconsistent performance especially on the Switch.
The studio is targeting a full launch in Spring 2022 for PC with console versions—that includes PS4, Xbox One, Switch, and next-gen machines—coming in the Summer of 2022. An Early Access version will be available on steam in March 2021.
