HBO Max is still finding its footing in many ways, BUT, they are working on getting a lot of TV shows to the service for people to enjoy. Including many brand new DC Comics TV shows (and the Snyder Cut) to the fold. One of which is going to be Green Lantern, which now has brand new details about what the show will be like, who will be running it, and more.
The new streaming service officially announced the DC Comics series from superstar producer Greg Berlanti and showrunner Seth Grahame-Smith, Green Lantern will be co-written by Grahame-Smith and Arrowverse architect Marc Guggenheim. The show in its first season will feature 10 one-hour episodes and focus on Green Lanterns Guy Gardner, Jessica Cruz, Simon Baz and the ORIGINAL Green Lantern…Alan Scott.
The official logline from Warner Bros. includes mentions of Kilowog and Sinestro, indicating that many members of the Green Lantern Corps will play a major role in the series. Check it out below:

Green Lantern will depict the adventures of a multitude of Lanterns, including Guy Gardner, Jessica Cruz, Simon Baz and Alan Scott — Earth’s first Green Lantern, who, true to the comics, is a gay man — and many more. The series will also include fan favorites such as Sinestro and Kilowog, and will also introduce new heroes to the ranks of the Green Lantern Corps.”
