GKIDS is bringing one of the most prolific and iconic animes back to home video! They announced that they have acquired the license to Neon Genesis Evangelion which includes the television series, the movie End of Evangelion, and Evangelion: Death (True)². While no concrete release date has been set, it is confirmed that they will be coming to Blu-ray in 2021. There is also no word on whether or not everything will be bundled together in one collection or sold separately. Price was also not announced for any of the titles.
This announcement comes when the series turns 25 years old this year.

The anime originally started airing on October 4, 1995, ending on March 27, 1996, spanning 26 episodes. Neon Genesis Evangelion is considered to be one of the animes that is classified as “must-watch” for any anime fan both new and seasoned.
