I am a proud supporter of the Snyder Cut. Mainly because I believe in allowing a director, or a writer, or a team, to release the vision that they were hired to do. The theatrical cut of Justice League was mired in controversy and the Snyder Cut movement helped right that ship as it’s coming in its true form to HBO Max in 2021. BUT, in doing so, many on the internet turned against the movement and saying that they were just “whining fanboys” and “Zack Snyder fanboys” who were doing this that or the other thing and that nothing good was going to come from this release. Well, a certain charity would say otherwise.
After the confirmation of the Snyder Cut, a new shirt was released on Ink To The People that would allow people to get a cool shirt while also being labeled an “Associate Producer” for the cut because as Snyder himself noted, “this wouldn’t have happened without the fans”. And as a bonus, all proceeds would go to help The American Foundation of Suicide Prevention. And apparently, that “small group of fans” have made a big impact on that fund:

That’s rather heartwarming, knowing that this fanbase came together to do something bigger than themselves or this movie. If you’re not sure why it was given to this charity, it’s because Zack Snyder left the movie after the suicide of his daughter, and both him and his wife have been helping raise awareness for this ever since.
So if you don’t like the idea of the Snyder Cut, that’s fine. But do know that these fans are people, and they care about people, and they have proved it with this.
