Hiro Mashima’s Edens Zero manga series is receiving a video game! The announcement came from the official Edens Zero Twitter account; however, it didn’t state just what kind of game it was going to be. It simply stated that the manga series had inspired the creation of a video game.
What we do know is that the game will be developed by Konami and more details about the game will be unveiled on September 26 during the virtual Tokyo Game Show as they plan to host a live stream during the event.
Edens Zero is also slated to receive a television anime adaptation at some point in 2021.
MyAnimeList.net describes Edens Zero as follows:
A young boy gazes up at the sky and sees a streaming bolt of light. The friendly, armor-clad being at his side tells him gently, “That’s a dragon.” The fact that he’s joking isn’t important. What’s important is the look of wonder on the boy’s face… and the galaxy-spanning adventure that’s about to take place!
