The state of superhero movies right now is not ideal, with many releases being delayed and thus shifting release and filming schedules back for both Marvel and DC Comics. However, DC Comics is taking this in stride with their mega DC Fandome event that is coming in a few weeks. It’ll feature first looks and new looks at existing and upcoming properties, and as noted by The Rock himself, we’ll get our first look…at Black Adam.

The Black Adam movie has been a passion project for Dwayne Johnson for many years, and now he’s aiming to get it done soon so it’ll release in late 2021 if things should hold. The tease above is the first look at the film we’ve had, and many are curious to see how The Rock handles this role.
Mainly because Teth Adam is a renown anti-hero, one whom betrayed The Wizard after getting the power to save his nation of Khandaq. He started an eternal rivalry with the new champion, Shazam, before finally getting back on a somewhat even keel and leading his nation into a new age.
But how will this play into the prequel movie? And will this indeed end up with a Shazam vs Black Adam movie when all is said and done? We might find out at DC Fandome!
