When the global lockdown happened and many Comic-Cons were getting canceled, many were curious to see how various companies would respond. DC Comics replied with a massive virtual event they called DC Fandome. Where they would bring together their massive multiverse and do reveals of games, movies, TV shows, and more. And now, we know just how successful the event was.
According to TheWrap, DC Fandome brought in 22 million views worldwide in terms of their site and the panels. An impressive number for an event like this. But just as important, with all the trailers and reveals that they made, they got over 150 million views on those between Youtube and Twitter. As well as dominating the social media verse. Oh, and the response from the fans? Overwhelming. It apparently had a 99% positive reaction from fans. Truly incredible.
Now, DC Fandome is not done, there is more to reveal, as the event’s second half will arrive on September 12th and will bring another set of multiversal reveals and updates for fans to enjoy.
