Yesterday, during Ubisoft’s Forward pre-recorded event, if you had attempted to either register your Twitch with or log into Uplay, you may have noticed that you were unable to.
Ubisoft may have underestimated the draw of free game and the number of requests overloaded the service and rendering useless. Not only could you not access it to redeem the game, but you couldn’t log into it to play your existing titles. Which left gamers wondering if they could still receive a free copy of the game.
The issue with our log in services should now be resolved. We appreciate your patience! We'll update you as soon as we can with more details on the rewards, even if you were unable to log in successfully during the event.

Turns out that Ubisoft understands the situation and has promised that everyone who attempted to score a free copy of the game will still be able to do. They’ve set up a website that all you’ll need to do is register and link your account if you haven’t.

Once you do this, you’ll be registered and Ubisoft will send you not only a copy of Watch Dogs 2 for PC but the following in-game bonuses:
- Watch Dogs Legion in-game jacket
- The Division 2 Apparel Cache Key Pack
- Assassin’s Creed Vahalla in-game Clair de Lune Axe
During Ubisoft Forward, we not only got an in-depth look at Watch Dogs Legion but a look at a new short film based on the game.
Watch Dogs Legion is slated to be released for PS4, Xbox One, and PC, on October 29th, 2020. The game is also heading to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X at a later date.
