Bungie’s upcoming entry into what will eventually become our controlling the Darkness for the first time in the series’ history has been pushed back, as revealed on their blog today. Originally scheduled to release on September 22nd, 2020, the upcoming Beyond Light expansion will now release on November 10th, 2020.
The Independent studio cited COVID-19 and the team having to work from home since March as the reason for the extension. Personally, I feel very happy for the delay. The game will likely only benefit from the extra time and might give some players who can’t dedicate as much time to finishing their Moments of Triumph or the upcoming Solstice of Heroes.
