Also featured on the PlayStation Blog is a behind the scenes look of the English Voiceover and talk with one memeber of the localization team, Allie Doyon. In the feature, it discusses about the game doing very well in Japan and touches upon its Sci-Fi story. How it involves robots, kaiju monsters, human elements and emotions. A lot of elements of prior Vanillaware games seems to continue in this game. I sense the interwoven story of different characters like Odin Sphere and Muramasa. With some dark themes similar in the realm of Dragon’s Crown.
Also discussed is how Allie handled the Voiceover sessions during the time of COVID-19 and how they managed to work around limits and continue to work towards the games production. To note again, there is no one main character but 13 perspectives to this story. Allie beleievs the fun part for players is piecing together how they will interact and intersect with each other. Naturally if you like food in Vanillaware games, worry not as they continue the trend in this game as well.
If you preorder at physical retailers, you will also get a artbook while supplies last.
