In less than 30 minutes from now, Square Enix and Crystal Dynamics will showcase the upcoming Marvel’s Avengers in what’s called the War Table. What can you expect from this? Well, lots of new gameplay, developer talk on what’s on the horizon, and more.

Is Marvel’s Avengers coming to Xbox Series X and PlayStation 5?
Yes, it most definitely is. As already announced, both platforms will be available and if you purchase the game for the Xbox One or PlayStation 4, you’ll get an upgrade tot he next-generation versions when available.

Will there be a beta?
Yes, according to Square Enix, the PlayStation 4 will get access to a beta that will be available if you pre-order the game. Here’s more information regarding the beta.

While Square Enix hasn’t stated what other platforms will see the beta, it doesn’t state the beta is exclusively for the PS4. Instead, it says you can play the beta first on PS4. Which reads to us that other platforms will see it, just a later date.
Marvel’s Avengers will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, PC, and Stadia on September 4th, 2020. The upgraded versions of the game will head to the PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X once the consoles are released.
