Now that EA is bringing all thier games to Steam, Madden NFL will for the first time, be available in Steam. A new listing has appeared in Steam, that shows the release date for Madden NFL 2 on Steam, and releasing on August 28, 2020.
There are three versions of the game that are currently available to purchase now; Standard ($59.99), Deluxe ($79.99), and MVP ($99.99) Editions. While the standard edition will only get you a copy of the game, both the deluxe and MVP will have added incentives that we’ve listed below.

While EA games are coming to Steam, you’ll still need to have the EA Origin client installed to access the games. Other than that, this is exciting news. It wasn’t that long ago that Madden NFL finally made it on to the on PC, and this year we’re going to see it in Steam. That progression, people.
While this can be seen as a step in the right direction for PC gamers, this still leaves the future of EA’s Origin in the air. Are they eventually going to abandon the storefront or will this co-existence with Steam be the norm for now on? We’ll keep an eye on this situation because it’s an interesting one.
Of course, now that Madden is on Steam, I suppose the next question will be “When’s Fifa coming?”.
