It would seem PlayStation is getting ready to drum up the hype for The Last of Us Part II, not that it was needed. On May 27th, 2020 at 1 PM PT / 4 PM ET, a surprise State of Play featuring The Last of Us Part II will take place.
Per the announcement, this will be a deep dive and will show off a new gameplay dequeue. This is likely going to be the last bit that we’ll see of the game before it launches on June 19th, 2020.

Hopefully what we ultimately end up seeing won’t be spoilery. Not that I doubt that Naughty Dog will want to spoil anything, especially given the number of leaks over the past few weeks. I’m just happy we’re going to see more gameplay.
