You’ll have to finish the fight later
The original release of the Master Chief Collection for the Xbox One left a lot to be desired, luckily for 343 and Microsoft we live in the age of second chances and the MCC’s second chance came in the form of a PC release.
Erring on the side of caution this time 343 have been releasing the MCC for PC in stages starting with Halo Reach back on December 3rd, 2019, and was followed by Halo CE Anniversary on March 3rd, 2020. The next game to come to Halo The Master Chief Collection for PC is Halo 2 Anniversary which has now been confirmed by 343 to be coming to PC on May 12th, 2020 in the following tweet:
Earth will never be the same.
Halo 2: Anniversary arrives on PC as part of Halo: The Master Chief Collection on May 12! https://t.co/y5NHDTiQ1E pic.twitter.com/HVzgxIuY8V

While there were slight issues with Halo: Reach’s release on PC, they were quickly fixed to 343’s credit, Halo CE Aniversary released mostly issue free so I’m hoping they keep up this trend with Halo 2 Aniversary as I’m dying to jump back into that iconic multiplayer as soon as possible.
If you have yet to pick up Halo The Master Chief Collection for PC you can do so by clicking here to go to steam and grab it while it’s hot. You can purchase Halo Reach separately and buy the other games as DLC or you can pick up the MCC as a single purchase and download the future releases free.
If you want all the mainline Halo games except for Halo 5 on PC I suggest you grab the whole MCC as it will save you some money down the line.
