Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles is one of the most beloved entries in the Final Fantasy franchise, which is not something to say lightly. In 2018, Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition was announced, but then a series of delays hit the games team, leaving many to wonder if and when it would ever come out. Well now, we have that answer.
As reported by Gematsu, a Japanese listing for Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition is stating that it’s going to release on August 27th, this was later followed-up by a Tweet from Nintendo of America confirming that the 27th will be the launch date in the West as well!

Since this is now a confirmed thing, it would mean that Square Enix has several major titles coming to the Switch this year, as Bravely Default II is also scheduled to hit this fall at some time. If both do well, it could lead to further titles on the Switch.
Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles Remastered Edition is coming not just to Switch, but to PS4, iOS and Android.
