Sure it’s not an Xbox Series X, but it looks awesome
Update: Xbox has indeed confirmed that the Cyberpunk 2077 controller will be sold separately, as well as other Cyberpunk themed merch.
The Xbox Wireless Controller – “Cyberpunk 2077” Limited Edition controller is available today at select retailers worldwide for $74.99. However, when trying to purchase it via the Microsoft website, it shows the controller being sold out already. It hasn’t shown up on Bestbuy’s, Amazon’s or Gamestop’s website as of yet, but we’ll keep checking.
There’s also a matching limited edition charging stand that goes along with the controller, priced at $49.99.
Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox Pro Charging Stand is designed to perfectly match the Cyberpunk 2077 Limited Edition Controller. Officially licensed and manufactured with the same high quality and color material as the controller, the Xbox Pro Charging Stand is a premium, high-performance, seamless charging experience. The magnetic contact systems ensures a perfect and secure charge every time.
More information on this can be found on Xbox’s news website.
Original story below.
Just a few days ago, Xbox starting teasing a Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox console via some cryptic messages found on the Xbox website. Shortly after that, images of the special edition Xbox One X and control surfaced with a futuristic design. Seeing how the cat was out of the bag, Xbox then announced that this console and controller were part of an upcoming Cyberpunk 2077 bundle that’s set to be released this June 2020.
At first glance, the console looks like it was yanked from sort of computer terminal that you’d see an anime or sci-fi movie, which is fine by me. It also features glow in the dark writing and symbol along with the console. While the controller looks worn, with etched writing on it, along with a grey/black/red color scheme.
Check out the announcement trailer below.
According to Xbox, a copy of Cyberpunk 2077 will also be included with the bundle, despite the game releasing later this September 2020. Which is illegal for an Xbox Series X upgrade as announced by CD Project Red earlier this year.
Gamers should never be forced to purchase the same game twice or pay for upgrades. Owners of #Cyberpunk2077 for Xbox One will receive the Xbox Series X upgrade for free when available. https://t.co/nfkfFLj85w

It does seem odd that Xbox would promote Xbox One X, even if it is a special edition when their upcoming Xbox Series X is scheduled to be released this year. Still, at the same time, it is a nice console and the Xbox One X is a worthy upgrade from the original Xbox and should keep gamers happy, despite the release of the Xbox Series X.
Though, I wouldn’t mind if Xbox also sold the controller separately. Not only do I already own an Xbox One X, but I also controller Xbox One controllers and I hate seeing special editions confined to bundles. I’ve already asked Xbox about this, hopefully, they’ll let us know in one form or another.
